As you can see from the pictures, there’s a lot of Publix items on hand, that’s the store of choice in here Tampa. The water filter jug to the upper left is necessary with the hard water here. The front of the fridge has some miscellaneous papers, coupons, and a couple pictures of some alligators around here I took a picture of. Of course, you need some bags of chips on top, I think that’s a universal thing along with the layout on the front with the pictures,etc. The rotten looking banana’s in the freezer are for banana bread, usually will freeze the unused banana’s so not to waste them.

Linda’s Fridge

This Fridge is from Cleveland, Ohio, USA

This fridge is shared by my husband, our 4 cats and myself. Mostly us, the people. The exterior is just a bunch of crap. ‘Don’t know what to do with something? Stick it on the fridge’ seems to be my motto. There are pictures of us, our nephews and nieces, artwork that has been given to us by kids, old school Cleveland TV personalities, magnets from places we have been (example: Casa Bonita in Colorado), unique candy wrappers, business cards, funny magnets (”Someday big butts will be back in style” and “Cleveland Steamer”), Patron Saint magnets (the Patron Saint of beer and Patron Saint of cats), and the 1996 Cleveland Browns team picture…which is blank….that was the first year the city went without a football team when that bastard Art Model moved the team to Baltimore. Still bitter.

The first interior shot includes one of our cats. Grover likes to jump in the fridge every time someone opens the door. I don’t know why…its not as if there is anything new in there or anything he can get into on that shelf. We have several cans of whipped topping. One of our cats gets that as a treat every time we have to give him a dose of steroids…so, we keep plenty on hand. Looking at this picture I see at least 3 jars of pickles and there is another ginat one behind the cat. It doesn’t seem like we eat that many pickles. There is also part of an apple pie I made still sitting on the top shelf. And there is a bottle of my Probiotics.

The other interior pic is of the shelves on the door. Lots of condiments there. Salad dressings, mustards, more pickles and relish…what the crap?

The freezer contains a box of Hot Pockets that I leave in there as a joke. See Jim Gaffigan’s bit about Hot Pockets for reference. Some ice cream that we always seem to forget about that I will most likely throw away when it has freezer burn. Some ice packs for my husband’s back are in a door shelf. Lots of frozen vegetables and containers of leftovers that I will use in soup one day. And some peanut butter Whoopie Pies on the door there.

Mara’s Fridge

Since I recently cleaned out my refrigerator, I thought this would be a good time to submit my photos!  I have a typical “Fat American” refrigerator–it is always crammed FULL!  (You think my fridge is bad–you should see my pantry!)  It is also a “Mom” fridge because it is covered with pictures of my kids when they were little and our magnet collection (our magnets reflect not only our travels, but also our favorite things, and our sense of humor.)

Inside my refrigerator, I have 7 different kinds of pickles and pickle relishes (my daughter and I LOVE pickles), 6 different kinds of mustard, and my deli drawer is pretty much full of cheese (7 different kinds!)  I also always have salsa and tortillas in my fridge, since I live in New Mexico, and those are “staple items.”  I cook a lot and make most things from scratch, so I have a lot of “ingredients” and containers of left-overs rather than prepared foods.  I do buy lots of bottled sauces and marinades, though.  The large glass bottle from Two Pigs Farm is real maple syrup from Vermont, and the carton of Heavy Cream was used for making homemade ice cream.  In the freezer section, the gallon-sized freezer bag in the lower left corner is full of roasted green chile from Hatch, NM.  I bought a 30-pound bag of chiles last week, had it roasted, and bagged it up for the freezer (the rest of it is in the freezer in my garage.)  The plastic container just above it is full of homemade red chile sauce.  I will thaw it for Thanksgiving and use it on mashed potatoes instead of gravy!  I know people who keep an entire separate freezer just for their chile!  (New Mexico grows the best green chile in the world, and we put it on everything from scrambled eggs to pizza!)  My guilty confession?  Frozen biscuits!  (They turn out better than the ones I try to make from scratch!)

Shannon’s Fridge

It’s just my husband and I (and several cats) that share our fridge.  My husband and I couldn’t be more opposite on our preferences, so it makes like interesting!!  I have given up soda, obviously, he has not.  I am trying to eat more organic, he is not.  We have recently discovered Trader Joe’s and their products are quickly taking over our fridge.  Obviously condiments are a big must, as the whole fridge door is filled with them!  I think we have a little bit of everything in our fridge, from Tastykakes (hubby’s fave) to fruit to cheeses to some Smirnoff Ices in the bottom veggie bin!  The freezer is filled with quick meals and Joe Corbi’s pizzas from a fundraiser.  The outside of the fridge has some kitchen basics like a grocery list & measuring list.  Then a few Disney items since we’re huge fans and yes, that is a picture of NKOTB.  Some kids never grow up!

Sonny G’s Fridge

This is our fridge. My roommate is also my sister, which is nice because we both eat alot of the same things. We do alot of shopping at the Mexican supermarket, and our mom always stops by and brings us stuff from the farmer’s market (she just dropped off all the fresh produce in the pics yesterday afternoon). The contents are always changing, but one thing we make it a point to never run out of is peanut butter (top left shelf); no joke, there has been times when we’ve had to make late night runs to the grocery store just to ensure that we’d have peanut butter for the next day LoL. The outside of the fridge started out with just a pic of our parents (top right corner), but is slowly growing into a little collection consisting of alot of magnets that we have collected over the years, my personal favorites are the little Frida Kahlo and Harriet Tubman doll magnets that somebody gave to my sister. The collection of magnets on the side of the fridge
consists of various ones that we’ve gotten for free from business who’s services we use (the dentist, the vet, the local pool, etc).

Angela and Jim’s Fridge

We produce maple syrup in Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan every Spring. Jim has become totally obsessed with it. It’s all he ever thinks about. Lucky for me, maple syrup goes well with just about everything: baked beans, granola, cereal, ice cream, marinades….
