My green Lakeland “stayfresh longer bags” are the favorite things in

Hi Dorothy
I see Elizabeth may have already answered your question…… but you can get them from http://www.lakeland.co.uk - it is a brilliant shop, and I checked to see that they do ship abroad! They sell all sorts of kitchen and home goodies. The bags are amazing though. I have lemons in the bottom of my fridge lasting for months! Sounds gross but it’s true!

A gap was left on the website address there….. it is lakeland dot co dot uk.

What an awesome fridge! Does it have mirrored doors?? Or is it dark lacquered wood doors?? I’m fascinated by your fridge…also love the woodwork framing the fridge (looks custom-made, definitely not something one could just go to a store to purchase, am I correct?). Please elaborate on the design & who designed/built it. I can’t figure out if the fridge is a built-in or if you just constructed a perfect-fitting wood case that lets you slide in the refrigerator…

Glad you like my fridge Dallapiccola! It’s based on a Mark Wilkinson kitchen, built by friends and fitted by my husband. There is a perfectly sized gap that the fridge slid into. Maybe slid is exaggerating a bit… it’s rather heavy! It’s an Amana fridge that is designed to take a variety of frontages - we chose smoked mirrored glass.

Great fridge, but the perfect fridge is still the one that a magnet will stick to. By the way, where is the Watney’s beer?

Dorothy - I’ve seen those types of bags at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and at Linens’N'Things.
Gill - Have you not taste? Budweiser??? Try Dos Equis or at least Corona!
