Collin’s Fridge
This is a Fridge from: The United Kingdom |

This Fridge is from London, The United Kingdom.
I read about this site in the Daily Mail and decided to participate. As you can see the fridge and freezer are full after just being filled after our weekly shop. (we need a bigger one! ) I think there is a pretty good balance of healthy and not so healthy food (spot the fresh cream apple turnover) but on the plus side there is lots of fresh orange juice etc. OH and am i the only one in the world that prefers pepsi to coke?

нет коментов у такого холодильника…. даже обидно… забит так аккуратно под завÑзку… наверно идет подготовка к войне)))) а вот молока почему-то нет… или Ñ ÐµÐ³Ð¾ не вижу))))

I’ve never kept suet in the fridge, but I see now that it is probably a good idea. I thought I was the only person still making puddings - my best is onion and bacon with herbs - it really sticks to your ribs on a cold day! How do you use your suet? And what is in your small casserole dish? My fridge always seems to contain a small casserole dish with a leftover something to incorporate in another meal. I can’t bear to throw food away!

no comments for such fridge. it’s really full, I see you are ready for war ? and where milk ? why i don’t see the milk))) (The friend has translated) ;)

There is milk in the door at the right, white, plastic bottle. Also, there are 2 more 4pints behind the pepsi, green lids. ready for war? just eat too much i think! I hope the translation below is understandable.
Будет молоко в двери на правой, белой, плаÑтичной бутылке. Также, там 2 больше 4pints за pepsi, зеленые крышки готовые Ð´Ð»Ñ Ð²Ð¾Ð¹Ð½Ñ‹? как раз Ñъешьте too much, котор Ñ Ð´ÑƒÐ¼Ð°ÑŽ! Я надеюÑÑŒ перевод ниже поÑтижим.

Hi Susan, Thanks for the comments. we’ve always kept the suet in the fridge, not sure if you have to i havent looked. We dont have many savoury puddings, its mainly for spotted dick im afraid..not that we have it that often, maybe thats why the suets in the fridge! lol I dont think you are alone in still making puddings, my wife is a pretty good cook and nothing quite like an old fashioned suet pud on a cold day i agree. The casserole dish i believe contained chicken curry the wife had made for the next day.

OH susan..I just remembered we also have dumplings in the stew, made with the suet of course…funny thing is i always have to make them as wife and daughters say i make great dumplings BUT i don’t like dumplings so i wouldn’t know! lol (maybe she just says that so i make them, like i apparently clean windows so much better than her,,humm)

OOOh, the suet brings back memories-my Mum used to make home-made chicken soup on Monday from the carcass left over from the sunday roast. She would add dumplings to it-and I loved them!!
I like this fridge, plenty of good food-and a few treats.
Thats an enormous tub of Flora! Someone is a big fan!
