Rob’s Fridge
This is a Fridge from: Germany |

This Fridge is from Dessau, Germany.
My name is Robert Jung aka “dreikelvin” (I am running a freelance business under this name) and I live in a small town near Berlin, called Dessau. If you Google for the famous “Bauhaus”, you will notice what it’s about. Mainly, I am working as a freelance designer, teacher and musician, doing most of my work over the internet or by traveling around, meeting clients - or my course participants. My fridge is not that huge but it’s enough for me and to survive for 1 and half a week. I always try to eat very healthy and very low-fat. That’s why I like vegetarian food and Sushi. Mostly, I do Sushi myself - or I buy some frozen ones in the supermarket, as you may notice by the picture of my ice box. At the bottom, the box with the blue cap, that’s sushi rice I obtained from the local sushi bar in my town :) I am especially proud of my British mustard which I am retrieving from a good friend from the UK every time he visits us. This mustard was made in hell. It’s almost as strong as Wasabi ;) Also, there is something that I don’t want to miss in my fridge. It’s the bottles of BIONADE at the bottom. BIONADE is a new German Soda which is only available in our country. But it is evolving and I heard a rumour that they are shipping throughout Europe and more countries, soon.

i find it funny by some fridges - you can buy eggs either as a 10 pack or as a half-dozen, but you still have 7(!) “slots” for ‘em in an egg-holder of your fridge…

Hi guy! Just an advice from a wasabi-addicted one; just try Chrzan, it’s a Polish sauce from the same root of wasabi (that’s, horseradish).
Polish one kills!
enjoy!

Hi dreikelvin. I’m living in Germany since 2years and I never tried Bionade. Softdrinks doesn’t concern me at all, you know. Nevertheless, tonight I’m gonna try it anyway. I only have a question: What corporation produces this product?

Wow! I love your small fridge. When I was a student in Wales we shared a similar sized fridge for seven people and it actually worked well. I’m Canadian and was used to the huge monster fridges we have in North America. What a waste of energy resources! Ridiculous. My next fridge will be just like yours, and hopefully stainless steel like yours as well. LOVE stainless.
Hope that Bionade comes to Canada sometime soon. Looks so delicious! I bet it’s way better than our crappy soda, although I have to admit I do get a Coca-Cola craving every once in a while and it’s a must if I’m eating Indian food. It just seems to go so well with Indian for some reason.
Bon apetit!
Love from,
Boo

Good old Colman’s mustard - lovely! I like Colman’s English mustard, got alot of fire in the taste. My mum used to put it on my tongue when I was a kid if I swore in front of her! I hated the taste then, but love it now. Nice with cold meats.

I have had Colman’s mustard and it is everything they claim it is. Brings tears to your eyes.
