Jeff’s Fridge
This Fridge is from Hingham, Massachusetts, USA.
This is a lovely fridge in Hingham, Massachusetts. It belongs to the author of bowlofcheese.com but it doesn’t have much cheese in it right now. The only things of real note are the six pack of coke - unopened - from the Red Sox’ 2004 World Series win and the paint roller in the freezer section. The eggs, although brown, were not grown locally contrary to that little song that says brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh.

  1. The fridge (yes, it’s mine) may seem a little sparse. That’s because it was shot before we hosted SAUSAGEFEST 2007. That’s where we cooked and exhibited and snacked on 11 types of sausage. The bulk of which are now housed in this same fridge.

For you FoodNerds out there, the sausage types were purchased at the Smokehouse in Hanover/Norwell, MA and the types we sampled were: Chicken-Apple, Chinese, Turkey, Proscuitto-Parmesan, Chicken Marsala, Weiswurst, Jalepeno, Italian, Duck-Veal, and some others I can’t remember.

The signs are all at Bowlofcheese.com if you really must know.

Thanks FridgeWatcher for putting up my shots of the fridge. OH YES, the kosher pigs in blankets can be seen in the crisper in the bottom photos.

  2. The Fridgewatcher is a nice touch on an otherwise ecin web log. I especially like the reference to juevos in the midst of a sausage discussion; it’s so ‘Boogie Nights.’

  3. WHATS A KOSHER PIG IN THE BLANKET?? PRETTY CLEAN… GIVE YOU A B THIS WEEK… BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO GET SOME VEGGIES AND FRUITS.. FILL THAT BOX UP …

  4. The outside your refrig, resembles mine. Like to be reminded of events- new or old. Love the laughing cow.
    I can’t eat dairy, so that’s just a cruel cow to me~
