Arnski’s fridge
This Fridge is from Hamburg, Germany.
This small fridge fits perfectly in my equally small kitchen. Place is of the essence - so even on top of it there is food (^-^). Ok. I’ll start from the top. Next to my beloved KitchenAid there’s the essentials for a healthy “Muesli”- Breakfast - some Soy- and Ricemilk plus some Sesame which of course is being freshly-roasted with some cashews each morning. In the upper door i have some Bio-eggs, Tomato puree, Maple-sirup (yeah baby), some “Sylter” Salad-sauces, red Currypaste, Soy sauce and the famous Ahrensburger “Hela Gewürz”-Ketchup.The lower part is packed with again Ricemilk, real Milk (but not some big factory shit) - Cocosmilk and some more Ketchup (which i almost never eat, i swear). In the main- unit there is:
- Bitter orange marmelade, Tomato- sauce, Mozarella, Homemade Pesto, Babybel - which ist some kind of hard cheese covered in wax
- Stanky Cheese in Tupper- Enclosure, Parmesan and Creamcheese
- Bio Yoghurt, some more Parmesan, Mustard, Pesto á la Calabrese, some more Pesto and pure Yoghurt (Also mostly for the healthy Breakfast)
In the bottom there is just some vegetables. In the freezer there is some frozen (doh, obviously) Princess- Beans, some Puff Paste and some italian Vegetable-mix for a lazy evenings meal.

  1. You must save a lot on your electric bill with a smaller fridge! I think the Europeans have the right idea that fridges do not need to be enormous caves. Us Americans are so hooked on having lots of fridge space but then we end up not using all of it–or composting in the vegetable crisper ;-)

  2. What are princess beans?

  3. Karen’s so right! lol!! I’m Canadian and we’re addicted to our monster fridges as well. Terrible. What a drain on energy resources better spent elsewhere. When I was a student in Wales we shared the same sized fridge as yours with seven people and it worked out perfectly. Shame on us North Americans!

And speaking of beloved KitchenAids, I just bought a brand new KitchenAid blender and it’s in my favourite colour…PINK! I know, a lot of people wouldn’t be able to handle that but I smile every time I look at it. It’s the happiest thing in my kitchen! :)I love it so. And the power!! KitchenAid is a fabulous manufacturer. Fabulous!

    Love from,
    Boo
